Students do not need a cosmetology or aesthetician license to take this course. It is however their responsibility to understand their states laws in regards to the licensing required to perform lash extensions in accordance to their state board of Cosmetology. Upon completion of this course you will receive a certification but it does not mean that you are a licensed lash artist , unless a certification is all your state requires, otherwise you will need to attend a beauty school to obtain a esthetician license before or after taking this course. Since our courses are very hands-on you will get the chance to practice on live models, unless you are unlicensed, then per the Board of Cosmetology in the state of Nevada, which is who governs the scope of Lash Extensions, you may only practice on a manikin head.
